Travellers can now search and book Radisson Hotels through ChatGPT conversations
New platform supports personalised trip planning in more than 100 countries
DUBAI – Radisson Hotel Group has partnered with Accenture to launch an AI-powered hotel discovery app in ChatGPT, marking a significant step in how travellers search, compare and book accommodation through natural conversations.
Available as @RadissonHotels in ChatGPT, the new app allows users to explore Radisson Hotel Group properties in more than 100 countries, covering over 1,000 hotels worldwide. Rather than relying on traditional keyword searches, travellers can describe their travel plans or preferences in everyday language and receive tailored hotel recommendations with live rates, availability and booking options.
The initiative forms part of the hotel group's broader strategy to embrace AI-driven customer experiences as travel planning increasingly shifts towards conversational platforms.
AI discovery
The ChatGPT app enables travellers to begin a conversation by mentioning @RadissonHotels in their prompt before describing the type of stay they are looking for. A family planning a weekend break in Amsterdam, for example, can request suitable accommodation, while another traveller may ask for a hotel in Paris with a gym and spa close to the Eiffel Tower.
Based on these requests, the app presents relevant Radisson Hotels properties complete with real-time room inventory, current rates, hotel amenities, location details and interactive map-based results. Once a traveller has selected a preferred hotel, they are directed to the Radisson Hotels website to complete their reservation.

The launch reflects what the company describes as a move towards "agentic commerce", where artificial intelligence plays a larger role in helping consumers discover, compare and select products through conversation instead of navigating multiple booking channels.
According to Accenture's Consumer Pulse Research, 87 percent of travellers are open to working with an AI-powered travel agent to identify the best travel options. The research also found that 71 percent expect at least half of their spending on hotels or airlines over the next 12 months to be influenced by AI.
Radisson Hotel Group said it is already witnessing changing customer behaviour, with traditional organic and direct website traffic gradually giving way to newer AI-powered discovery platforms such as ChatGPT.
Gianni Di Fede, Chief Commercial Officer at Radisson Hotel Group, said AI is fundamentally changing how people search for and book hotel stays, adding that the company aims to remain at the forefront of this transformation.
He said the collaboration with Accenture is designed to create a branded experience that helps travellers find, compare and book Radisson Hotels properties more easily by engaging with guests during the travel planning stage.
Technology platform
The collaboration began with Radisson Hotel Group adopting an MCP accelerator that forms part of Accenture's AI Merchant Center, an agentic readiness and intelligence platform. The technology was used to structure, validate and optimise hotel content, inventory, pricing information and booking signals for AI-led discovery.
Accenture also worked alongside Radisson Hotel Group to develop the user experience, ensuring travellers could interact with the app seamlessly across different devices while connecting directly to the group's existing hotel systems.
Because the app accesses real-time hotel information, travellers can move quickly from a broad travel idea to a shortlist of suitable accommodation without leaving the conversation.
The companies also outlined plans to expand the platform in the future with additional capabilities, including deeper personalisation, loyalty programme recognition, in-chat booking, reservation management, trip modifications and AI concierge services.
Ndidi Oteh, Chief Executive Officer of Accenture Song, said agentic commerce is reshaping how consumers discover and choose brands. She noted that businesses must rethink how they present themselves in increasingly conversational and intent-driven customer journeys so they can deliver value when travellers are making decisions.
Future strategy
The ChatGPT app forms part of Radisson Hotel Group's wider digital transformation and direct booking strategy. Accenture has already supported the company in modernising its digital and data infrastructure by bringing its brands together on a single global platform and enabling more personalised marketing across its portfolio of more than 1,000 hotels.
With the new ChatGPT experience extending those capabilities into an AI-native discovery channel, the hotel group aims to ensure its brands remain visible and bookable as customer behaviour continues to evolve.
Emily Weiss, Senior Managing Director and Global Travel Lead at Accenture, said travel planning is becoming simpler for consumers while competition among brands continues to intensify. She said travellers increasingly expect to compare options, narrow their choices and complete bookings with confidence in a single journey, placing greater importance on accurate, current and easy-to-access information throughout the booking process.
The project also builds on the broader collaboration between Accenture and OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, which focuses on helping organisations deploy AI in practical, decision-driven ways to improve customer engagement, unlock growth opportunities and enhance operational efficiency. Accenture is an OpenAI Elite Partner and was recently recognised as OpenAI's AI Transformation Partner of the Year.
